Google often provides a Google Adwords promotional code through web hosting companies, banks or other entities who frequently deal with online businesses.

Today, I received an email from my web hosting company, Godaddy, with $100 promotional coupon for free advertising on Google Adwords. They are providing promotional google adwords credit to their members that qualifies their criteria. I am not sure about their criteria. If you have already an account in godaddy, You can check it in Account Manager. They also give certain time duration to apply that credit. And those promotional credits are also limited to one voucher per customer. And another fact is that if you already have an account in adwords, you can only use promotional code only one time. Once I've already got a promotional voucher of $75 from Articlebase for writing articles in their site and i've already used that into my account. When i tried to enter second promotional code, they didn't allow me to use it. So, i again opened an new account in google adwords and created new campiagn for ads. 

At the first time, when i was trying to redeem that promotional code, i got confused for sometime. So, i am trying make give you clue on how to use the promotional code if you have already got it. Here are simple steps to activate the coupon:

1. Sign in to your Adwords Account, if you don't have register there
2. Select the “Billing” tab
3. Click “More actions” button and select “Apply a promotional code”
4. Enter the code (case sensitive and dashes required) in the box that appears.

Google adwords is really a good way to drive more traffic. It lets you publish many types of ads, text ads, image ads, video ads, links etc. I found most effective ad is, text ads which appear next to search results ("sponsored links") whenever a user is searching for your product or service. This is a great way to reach thousands of potential clients, at exactly the right moment, when they actively search for your services!
