Today, i was checking my google adsense account after a long time. There i saw one recommendation "Add the +1 button to your pages". There were written some description saying "Adding the +1 button to your pages allows users to recommend your content to friends and contacts on Google search. As a result, you could get more and better qualified traffic. " That sounded interesting for me, why not to try? if i can get more traffic from my circle. I know Google is always experimenting with new features aimed at improving the search experience. Then i clicked on "get code snippet". It's so simple to add on your site. They directed me to another page and gave me some options with source code. Now, you can see my +1 button on the bottom of every articles with social bookmark and also on right side with my other social profile icons.
Later i did some research on +1 button, i found it was released on June 1, just 10 days back. I am 10 days back to get updated such features, anyway i am not so late. They are saying that "Click +1 to publicly give something your stamp of approval. Your +1's can help friends, contacts, and others on the web find the best stuff when they search." I tried it by adding +1 to my own page and went to search in google. Yes! it worked for me! It was saying "You +1'd this" with the +1 button. It looks pretty cool, you should check this out.
The Google +1 button is the equivalent of the Facebook “like” button and the Twitter “tweet this” button.
It’s signaling that the +1’d link is worth checking out or in Google’s words it gives something “your stamp of approval”.
Here is some more information:
See +1's
Sometimes it’s easier to find exactly what you’re looking for when someone you know already found it. Get recommendations for the things that interest you, right when you want them, in your search results.
The next time you’re trying to remember that bed and breakfast your buddy was raving about, or find a great charity to support, a +1 could help you out. Just make sure you're signed in to your Google Account.
Show +1's
In order to +1 things, you first need a public Google profile. This helps people see who recommended that tasty recipe or great campsite. When you create a profile, it's visible to anyone and connections with your email address can easily find it.
Your +1’s are stored in a new tab on your Google profile. You can show your +1’s tab to the world, or keep it private and just use it to personally manage the ever-expanding record of things you love around the web.
Your +1's are public. They can appear in Google search results, on ads, and sites across the web. You'll always be able to see your own +1's in a new tab on your Google Profile, and if you want, you can share this tab with the world.
Please note, this experiment is browser-specific. From within each browser that you want to +1 from, you will need to repeat steps 1-2. Also, it may take a while before you see the button in search results, and it may occasionally disappear as we make improvements.
Let's give a try by clicking on "+1" button just below this line on right side.
...
mostly, people are always trust their friends.
Good post.Thanks
Pond
