प्रधानमन्त्रीको कार्यालयले डट एनपी डोमेन भएका वेबसाइट दर्तालाई व्यबस्थित गर्न सरकारी निकायबाट दर्ता गर्ने भएको छ।

डट कम लगायत अन्य डोमेनको दर्ता विदेशबाट हुने भएपनि डट एनपी भने नेपालबाटै हुने गरेको छ। तर, यसमा कुनै शुल्क नलाग्ने हुँदा व्यापक दुरुपयोग भएपछि सरकारी निकायबाट दर्ता गर्ने तयारी सरकारको छ।

अहिले निजी क्षेत्रको मर्कन्टाइल कम्युनिकेसनले डट् एनपीको दर्ता निशुल्क गरिरहेको छ। सरकारी निकायको .gov.np दर्ता पनि निजी कम्पनीमा गर्नुपर्ने बाध्यता छ।

'डट एनपी दर्ता गर्दा शुल्क समेत लिने हाम्रो तयारी छ, यसो भयो भने दुरुपयोग रोकिने संभावना छ,' प्रधानमन्त्री कार्यालयका अर्का अधिकारीले भने।
शुल्क पनि लाग्ने भो अब।
