Use of internet in Nepal is growing rapidly. According to myrepublica, In this year Internet penetration is increased by 54 percent. Internet penetration reached 13.49 percent till October 2011, which was limited to 8.76 percent a year ago. With the increased number of users, development of Nepali websites are also in increasing trends.
We don't have any particular system to rank the websites, but we can use many criteria like traffic rank, popularity, usability etc to make the top list. And again to choose the Nepali sites from those list is not an easy job. We can't say the sites having CCTLD .com.np are the only nepali sites, there are thousands of sites which are built and running from abroad by Nepali people under top level domain name. Anyway, I've tired to list out some of the top most addictive and popular Nepali sites on the basis of my experience, site popularity, alexa traffic ranking and ease of use. It may not represent the view of everyone. I can't say that i've visited all Nepali sites currently running on the web. May be there are many sites which are the best in their own market and doing good. I would like to request you to mention if i am not being able to list those nice and popular sites.
