Google Plus: Another try by google to make the web more social

Can google take on facebook and twitter? I don't think it's so easy to migrate settled millions of users from facebook and twitter. Whatever, i like their spirit and passion in social media. They have already tried Google Buzz, orkut, Google Wave with no success. It seems like they wanna make it happen in any way, so they are giving damn care on their rate of failure.

Now they have another shield ON and jumped on the field  with its new social networking website Google Plus Project. Which was expected to be named as google circle. My intuition says they can make it happen, because they already have millions of users in gmail, blogger and youtube. If they can come up with some special integrated features, their users can easily get migrated. And another reason is many people are being fed up of facebook, may be they are in search of new and some extra features.

The service, which is initially available to a select group of Google users who will soon be able to invite others, will let people share and discuss status updates, photos and links, much as they do on Facebook. But the Google+ project will be different in one significant way, which Google hopes will be enough to convince people to use yet another social network. It is meant for sharing with groups — like colleagues, roommates or hiking friends — not with all of one’s friends or the entire Web. It also offers group text messaging and video chat.

When Larry page was assigned with new CEO of google back in april 2011, he had announced to  focus on next big social networking site from the  google. Now he is trying to make it happen. Read more about that stories here: Google CEO Page to focus on social networking.

As this is just a start, google plus will get lots of feature and updates in coming days for sure to make the user experience to great level.
