ICT Trade Fair to begin from July 1|

ICT Association is organising ICT Info Trade Fair 2010 from July 1 to July 5 at Bhrikutimandap here. The trade fair will focus on creating awareness among the people about the latest developments and benefits of information technology.
The fair which will have 12 pavilions with 110 stalls expects more than 3 lakh visitors to the fair. The five-day long Info Trade Fair will have desktops, laptops, mobile phones, i-pods, DVDs, Pen Drives, and many other latest gadgets from electronics and information technology.
According to a press release, the fair will have international brands Acer, Akkord, Altec Lansing, Aoc LCD Monitor, Anid, Asus, Aztech, Belkin, Benq, Brother, Creative, Dynamic, Edifier, Edimax, Epson, Foxcom, Genius, HCL, HP, Hyundai, Intel, Kaspersky, Lenovo, Lexmark, M-Audio, Microsoft, Mitsubishi, Motorola, MSI, Nokia, Philips, Pinnacle, Powercom, Quickheal, Richo, Samsung, Silion-Power, Sony Ericsson, Storium, Sukam, Techcom, Toshiba, TP Link, Verbatim.
For the first time, they are going to introduce cheapest OEM laptop in Nepal, worth NRS. 6,500/- . It's more like to be a Netbook, specially targeted for entertainement. It will be with Windows CE operating system, 128MB RAM, 2GB Flash Drive, 7" Display, VT8505 processor. It will also enable people to use card readers and pen drives. The battery has a backup time of two hours. It will enable people to use Internet, Email, Microsoft Word, Power Point, Audio-Video player etc.

ल्यापटप भित्राएको सागर इन्टरनेसनलका अनुसार ६ हजार ५ सय रुपैयाँ पर्ने ल्यापटप मंगलबार नेपाल भित्रिएको हो । 'मेलाका लागि मेरो कम्पनी र अरूले पनि यो ल्यापटप ल्याएका छन्,' इन्टरनेसनलका प्रमुख सागरदेव लाखेले भने । पहिलोपटक मेलाबाट सार्वजनिक गर्न लागिएको यस ल्यापटपको नाम 'माइक्रो ल्यापटप' दिइएको छ । उनका अनुसार अहिले सुरुमा ल्याइएका ल्यापटपलाई कुनै ब्रान्ड नदिएको उनले बताए ।
'वारेन्टीलगायत सुविधा सुरुदेखि नै उपभोक्ताले पाउनेछन्,' उनले भने । उनका अनुसार सुरुमा उपभोक्ताको मागअनुसार दिन नसके पनि बुकिङ भएका सबैलाई छिट्टै
ल्यापटप उपलब्ध गराइने बताए । 'छिट्टै पर्याप्त मात्रामा माइक्रो ल्यापटप आउँछ,' उनले भने ।
यसमा विन्डा-ज-सी अपरेटिङ सिस्टम राखिएको छ । इमेल/इन्टरनेट चलाउने, वाइफाई, वर्ड फाइल, पिडिएफलगायत सुविधा छ्न् । २ र ४ जिबीको हार्ड डिस्क
