Some questions, if you have designed a website:
• Does your current site serve your business as a whole? If the best answer you can come up with is, "It tells people who we are, what we do, where we're located, and how to get in touch with us, "this is a good start.
• Is your website easy to use? Do you often get complaints from users of your site that they can't find critical information? Would your customers rather use to call and ask questions rather than use your website?
• What does your website say to your customers? What does it do for them? What does it make easier for them?
• How can you simplify your site? What pages can you get ride of?
• How much clutter do your customers have to wade through to get to the really important stuff?
• Does it make sense to have different, smaller, more focused websites for different purposes?
• Does your site support your sales and marketing efforts? How, specially?
• Does your site meet the customer service standards you've set for the rest of your business?
• Does your site serve your bottom line?
